Habit 6 Synergize
essence of synergy is to value differences to respect them, to build on strengths, to compensate for weakness.
Valuing the differences-valuing the differences is the essence of synergy-the mental, the emotional, the psychological differences between people. And the key to value those difference is to realize that all people see the world, not as it is, but as they are.
Habit 7
Renewal- Sharpen the Saw
Principles of Balanced Self-Renewal
personal PC (personal capability). It's preserving and enhancing the greatest asset you have you. Its renewing the four dimensions of your nature-physical, spiritual, mental, and social/emotional.
Inside-Out Again
"The Lord works from the inside out. The world works from the outside in. The world would take people out of the slums. Christ takes the slums out of people, and then they take themselves out of the slums. The world would mold men by changing their environment. Christ changes men, who then change their environment. The world would shape human behavior, but Christ can change human nature." Erza Taft Benson
Stephen R. Covey, "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People"' has been an inspirational reading for me. The different paragraphs I quoted from Covey's book are the habits I am working on for myself.
